Marriage and commitment?
I've seen many questions on whether remaining committed to a marriage is important, and the guilt associated with infidelity. Experiencing double-edged sword seems to be accepted rather than not. I'm interested in seeing other peoples concept of what marriage should be. Please define marriage for me, and purpose thereof. I do not want a dictionary defination, but more than the personal opinion of men and women, and his concept of the entire unit.
Been with the same person for 15yrs and married 10. I feel that marriage is about friendship and teamwork. I work the same team that cause both have to work on it. Both must be willing put your hand in it. It is also about respect. Compliance with indifference. Appreciating each others qualities and weaknesses. Be willing to work on their own without resentment later. Never put false expectations on the person. Go in knowing each of the weaknesses and strengths than others. If each of the strengths that others may help each others weaknesses, will be very good. Then you should have the honesty and openness. You should be able to discuss with each other pains, wounds, concearns without being laughed or not taken seriously … This medium of communication is a biggy! Marriage is about commitment. Today marriages are of no value or moral principle. The people in them with all the misconceptions. Love one another for their own individuality, and love as the best out of each other! Marriage is about devotion, commitment, loyalty, communication and above all respect!

people cheat because they are not getting something from their partner or spouse, yes you can still love your spouse but you dont have to suffer either if they cant provide something, sex doesnt equal love

Get yourself a voice activated tape recorder and when he comes for a weekend put it where he spends a lot of time like in the car.Put it under his seat and if he calls someone it will pick it up.When you take a shower put it by the phone. If he is seeing someone he will call her when every he can.One thing you better be sure you want to know because thinking it and knowing it is totally different and there is no turning back once you find out so you better be really sure of this.
