Emotional Infidelity Psychology
Ethnographic studies related to sex differences in jealousy?
We are doing this work in my sexuality class human psychology. We were given several articles about sex differences in jealousy. The current results indicate that males are more reactive to the sexual infidelity and females are more reactive to Emotional Infidelity. There is considerable debate on this issue. I'm going to find one item out and I have some, but I was really looking to see if there ethnographic studies, because I always like to confuse psychology and ethnographic evidence. Or if there is some ethnographic evidence that supports it. Our library has wide access to academic journals and books so if I can say only one article that I think works and where I come find him. Much appreciated, thanks!
Not all cultures, including the difference between envy and jealousy, and not all professionals to do the jealousy of a completely negative way. The main problems in this area appears to be lack of reliable data outside the Western culture. Even Margaret Mead remains suspect. Relationship Advice : Emotional Signs of Cheating
Honestly, I might but there are other things to consider too. Is it possible that they feel old. Perhaps someone thought they were older so they started cleaning up a bit. My husband and I were at a carnival and his age was guessed about 10 years older than correct. He started sprucing up right after that. Or does your spouse watch that show "10 yrs. younger" that could do it too.
